Ryu Ga Gotaku are the developers behind Judgement, while many may not be familiar with the studio name. All you basically need to know is that they are the creative minds behind the Yakuza franchise which has been brought back to life this generation. While the game shares many similarities with the Yakuza franchise, one of the key difference comes in the form of investigative sequences. The main character of Judgement, Takayuki Yagami is an investigator, which means attention to detail and crime scene dissection will be a key aspect in this game. Combining Yakuza style combat with LA Noire style detective work? I am sold. Judgment is available to pre-order on PS4 for $59.99 USD and will launch June 25th, 2019. Digital purchasers get to play the game a little sooner as the game will be available digitally June 21st, 2019.
