Is Marvel developing a ‘Thunderbolts’ show?

A recent rumor from The Hashtag Show says that Marvel is currently planning to do a Netflix show based on The Thunderbolts.

This fits inline with a recent statement from Marvel claiming that they will have a new Netflix show (or season of a show) every six months. So far, Marvel has released Daredevil with Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist & a second season of Daredevil; all currently in production. So it makes sense that Marvel would be looking for more properties to make shows out of.

The Hashtag Show has previously leaked information on Avengers: Age of Ultron, which turned out to be true, so there’s a good chance that they may also be right about this upcoming show.

In the comics, the Thunderbolts are a team of super villains who are given a second chance and are assigned to do heroic missions, similar to the upcoming DC movie: Suicide Squad.

The team has had many rosters which have included characters such as Baron Zemo, Moonstone, Songbird, Crossbones, The Punisher, Ghost Rider, Venom and the Green Goblin. But Marvel is currently planning a show called The Defenders, starring Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones & Iron Fist. The Defenders is the name of a team in the comics, but only Iron Fist has been a member of it. It will be interesting to see what characters Marvel chooses to be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe version of the Thunderbolts.

What do you guys think? Will the Thunderbolts be coming to Netflix? What characters do you want to see on the team?
