Last year at Gamescom 2018, we learned that Crytek’s Hunt: Showdown was coming to Xbox One via the Xbox Game Preview program. While we’ve been left wondering for several months what was going to happen, a release window has been announced on Xbox Wire and Hunt: Showdown comes to Xbox Game Preview in Spring 2019.

It is official: Hunt: Showdown will be coming to Xbox Game Preview this Spring! Game Preview gives Xbox players the chance to support and play games—like Hunt: Showdown—that are still in development.
In the announcement post on Xbox Wire, they talked about why Hunt: Showdown was entering the Xbox Game Preview program.
We continue to want Hunt: Showdown’s development to be community-driven, and an Xbox Game Preview release allows us to base further development work on community feedback as we test and refine new features, equipment, cast and settings. The dialogue between the Hunt community and Hunt developers will be important in creating a fun experience.
Hunt: Showdown comes to Xbox Game Preview in Spring 2019. We’ll share the official release date when the announcement is made.
