Hitman: Season 1 really put the Hitman franchise back on the map. After IO Interactive’s split from Square Enix in which IO Interactive retained the rights to the Hitman IP a lot of people weren’t sure what the future would hold for the franchise. Thanks to a new partnership with Warner Brothers, it appears Hitman‘s future is full of potential. Hitman 2 has been announced!
Fans need not worry though, as today Hitman 2 has officially received an announcement trailer as well as a release date! On November 13th Hitman 2 will launch on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC. Unlike its previous installment, however, Hitman 2 will not be episodic, and the full game will be available to play on launch day. Post-launch DLC will also be available further down the road after the game releases.
