February is almost here. I have noticed that the weather is getting warmer and hope that everybody is enjoying the final weeks of winter. A new batch of PlayStation Plus titles is coming soon and as always we are here to let you know what to expect. Sadly, this will be the final month for the PS3 and Vita as far as PlayStation Plus is concerned. From March 8th Sony will only feature PS4 games and presumably titles from their future consoles in PlayStation Plus. Don’t worry – all of your previous games from Plus will still be available so long as your subscription is active and you will still be able to use existing features from the service such as cloud saves and online multiplayer on the PS4. Speaking of cloud saves – Plus subscribers will get expanded cloud storage space for their PS4 game saves. Sometime in early February subscribers will enjoy 100GB of cloud space for their saves which is a drastic increase from the current 10GB available to PlayStation Plus users.
With that in mind, let’s look at February’s Plus games.
PS4 Games
For Honor
Hitman: The Complete First Season
PS3 Games
Divekick (Cross-buy with Vita)
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
PlayStation Vita Games
Gunhouse (Cross-buy with PS4)
Rogue Aces (Cross-buy with PS4)
The PS3 and Vita games will be available until March 8th while the PS4 games will be replaced on March 5th. After this month there will be no more Vita or PS3 games added to the PlayStation Plus catalog.
what do you think of the PlayStation Plus games for February? Will the PlayStation 3 and Vita go out on a high note or on a whimper? Will you use all of that extra cloud save space? I have a feeling this increased capacity may be due to backwards compatibility on the PlayStation 5 console when it launches. Let us know how you feel about this month’s Plus games.
