One of the features of Nintendo’s paid online service is the ability to download and play a library of NES games on your Switch console. There will be 20 titles available as the Nintendo Switch Online service rolls out and more games will be added regularly. A new video from the fine folks at NinEverything gives us a brief glimpse of this feature in action. Check it out for yourself below:
Nintendo has added online multiplayer features to those NES games on the service which support two or more players. It also looks like every NES game can have up to four save states. Your gameplay saves will be stored on your console – there is no option for storing them in the cloud. If your subscription lapses you will lose access to these games.
