Halo 5 is killing the Map Voting feature in Multiplayer

If you’re familiar with Halo: The Master Chief Collection you’ll know that whenever you try to play a match, chances are that you’ll end up playing Shrine a million times over. Thanks to the Map Voting poll in the Multiplayer lobby, gamers can vote on their favorite map they wish to play and it usually ends up with the same map and game mode being played ad nauseam.

Josh Holmes recently confirmed via Twitter to a fan that this bad feature will no longer feature in Halo 5 Guardians. “No voting or veto, just straight rotation”.

Halo 5 Guardians will have a rotating multiplayer map selection process, almost similar to Titanfall, which will ensure that players get to play on every map in the game instead of being forced into the same situations every time. This will make playing Halo Multiplayer a bit more fair for newcomers as only the very dedicated will know each map by heart.

Halo 5 Guardians will make its debut on October 27th and you can pre-order now with extra bonus content on the Xbox One store.
