The first of 343’s free updates to Halo 5: Guardians is coming. The update is called The Battle of Shadow and Light and features a good amount of content, including the highly requested Big Team Battle game mode.
Big Team Battle will feature 16 players fighting in various game modes such as Slayer and Capture The Flag on 4 new maps. The maps are named Deadlock, Basin, Guillotine and Recurve. Big Team Battle is expected to launch next week.
In addition to the new game mode, there will be multiple new things to try and unlock through REQ packs. These new unlocks include the ninja-themed Shinobi armor, weapon skins, vehicle skins and a new assassination.
Halo 5: Guardians is out now, only on Xbox One.
