At Google’s GDC 2019 presentation, Google finally revealed their gaming platform: Google Stadia has been announced. Stadia is the evolution of Google’s Project Stream, which began closed beta testing in late 2018, letting players stream Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey through their Chrome browser.
Stadia will work through any Chrome device, such as a Chromeback or through the Google Chrome browser. You can use existing controllers, or the controller Google has specifically developed for the platform.
Check out the controller below:
Id Software stopped by the presentation to confirm that Doom Eternal is running on the service. Google also confirmed that they would be supporting full cross-play.
