Ahhh…There is just so much yes in that headline! If you grew up watching Cartoon Network like me, Scooby and Shaggy were probably your idols too. Well in 2018 Warner Bros. will be bringing audiences a new animated Scooby Doo film. Some of you might remember the two live-action attempts back in 2002 and 2004? Well the producers from those films, Charles Roven and Richard Suckle, will be returning for the 2018 film. Head of worldwide marketing and distribution at Warner Bros., Sue Kroll, had this to say:
“We couldn’t ask for better producers than Charles Roven, Richard Suckle and Allison Abbate, who have such affection and respect for this property and know the Hanna-Barbera universe so well.”
The movie will be directed by Tony Cervone (Space Jam) and animator of Family Guy Dan Povenmire will be acting as executive producer. The screenplay will be penned by Matt Lieberman.
