It is no secret that movie to video game adaptation and vice versa are often mediocre if not terrible. However, there are some memorable video games made from movies. The Lord of The Rings, Harry Potter and James Bond are all franchises that found success both in film and video games. One game that may have slid under a lot of peoples radar is 2009’s Ghostbusters: The Video Game licensed game. Originally released on Windows PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, it reviewed favorably sitting at a 79 on Metacritic. If you missed the opportunity to play it back in 2009 then you may be in luck.
As originally reported by Gematsu, Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered was rated by the Taiwanese rating board. Within the filing it is revealed that the game is being published by Mad Dog Games who you may remember for NBA Playground series and Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn. While we have no official announcement at this time, there is a weblsite link contained within the filing that is not live yet playghostbusters.com. We will be keeping a close eye for any news or updates as they become available.
