Based on the book series A Song of Ice and Fire by G.R.R.M, Game of Thrones has been a huge force for television. It’s drawn insane viewer numbers, with the final episode of Season 7 drawing over 12 million live views and it has won countless awards, including 47 Primetime Emmy wins. Suffice to say, expectations for Game of Thrones Season 8 are through the roof.
The final season consists of six episodes, which could reportedly run up to 90 minutes each. The first episode airs on April 14th, 2019.
