HBO has decided not to give any media outlet advance screening of the 6th season of Game of Thrones. Usually networks will give out episodes for review prior to release to the public. On some shows important plot points are leaked online to the world. The president of programming for HBO Micheal Lombardo told EW “There will be no copies for review”.
It should come to no surprise that HBO has decided to be so secretive with this season of Game of Thrones. The show has now surpassed the story from the books and, by not sending out copies for early review, they will ensure no spoilers leak online. It looks like we all have to wait and see what happened to John Snow!
Game of Thrones returns on April 24th.
