Owners of BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle will be pleased to learn that the home versions of the game will be updated to match the upcoming arcade edition sometime this Spring. This means that four new characters will be added to your roster of fighters. The announcement was made at EVO Japan and you can see the official tweet for yourself below (Hope you can read Japanese!)

If you want to see the new characters in action then check out the trailer below:
The new fighters will be available as DLC. The roster includes:
Naoto Kurogane (BlazBlue:Central Fiction)
Teddie (Persona 4 Arena)
Heart Aino (Arcana Heart 3)
Seth (Under Heart In-Birth)
We do not have an exact release date for the DLC but ARc System Works hinted that it will be sometime after the arcade version is released in Japan this Spring. BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle is currently available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Microssoft Windows.
Are you excited for the new characters coming to the game? I think it is pretty cool that the new roster will not be limited to just the arcade version of the game. Check back with The Inner Circle and we will let you know when this DLC pack will be available for your version of BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle.
