Forza Horizon 4 from Playground Games has been a huge critical success, earning a 92 on Metacritic. Based on early numbers, it’s also looking to be a commercial success. In a press release today, Gavin Raeburn, Studio Head at Playground Games, announced that Forza Horizon 4 has crossed two million players in one week.
Gavin’s statement on Forza Horizon 4′s player numbers:
It has been one week since we launched Forza Horizon 4 and we are humbled by the overwhelmingly positive feedback we continue to receive from players around the world. We are proud to say that in this first week alone, there are currently two million players driving around Forza Horizon 4’s Britain. On behalf of everyone at Playground Games, thank you for supporting Forza Horizon 4 and making the game such a success!
The
Forza Horizon series, as well as the
Forza brand in general, have grown tremendously over the last few years and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down. With
Forza Horizon 4 on Game Pass, it’ll be interesting to see what player numbers look like in the months to come, especially since
early sales charts look good.
Forza Horizon 4 will be getting more free DLC soon, including Route Creator mode, which has been highly requested by the community.
