Time to jump into your cars and put your foot down! Gamescom is upon us and with it came a new trailer and details about Forza 6. Without further ado, let’s get right into it! Forza 6 will feature the largest roster of cars in the franchise’s history with over 450 vehicles. The game will also include 26 world famous locations from across the globe and will run in the day and the night, the rain and the sun, at the highest possible level of realism.
At the conference they confirmed that Forza 6 will run at 1080p and 60fps. This is especially important as you will also be playing in multiplayer with 24 other gamers, and the matches will run on dedicated servers.
There will be a new career mode as well as league tables, and fear not, for the prizes will be obtainable based on your ranking within the league. Your rewards will be not just for speed but also for the professionalism with which you complete the course.
Interestingly, to get the highest level of variation between tracks in the rain, Forza 6 actually has 150 different surfaces that all have slightly different affects on gameplay. Forza Motorsport 6 will be releasing September 15th of this year and pre-order bonuses are available from different retailers.
