Fortnite and Star Wars Working Together Again

I was just enjoying my time in Fortnite this morning when I noticed a poster at Craggy Cliffs. On that poster is an announcement for a special screening of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker scene at Risky Reels. You may have noticed that for a while players were able to purchase the Imperial Stormtrooper skin. I’m hoping for some other skins to show up during this event.

The event will happen on December 14th. Players who log in at 1:30 PM ET will be getting a seat to the show. It starts at 2 PM ET, this event also includes a special message from director J.J. Abrams. This isn’t the first time that Fortnite has given fans an in-game event. We did have the DJ Marshmellow perform a concert not that long ago.

Don’t forget that we are reviewing the Star Wars show The Mandalorian. Jason and I are reviewing each episode. The show has been giving fans a look into some moments that help bridge the gap between the Original Trilogy and the most recent movies. The show has become a hit for Disney+ and with the introduction of Baby Yoda, it has taken over the internet. The seventh episode will be airing a few days earlier due to the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The movie will be coming to theaters on December 20th, go out and buy your tickets now. This will be the last Star Wars movie in theaters for some time.
