Three Gears of War games were announced at the Xbox E3 2018 conference: Gears POP!, Gears Tactics and Gears 5. While Gears 5 is the latest in the main series of games and Gears Tactics is an XCOM-style spinoff, Gears POP! is a mobile game. This game features different Funko POP! versions of Gears characters that battle with different special abilities. While information since E3 2018 has been scarce, today the first gameplay of Gears POP! has been released with a new dev diary.
In the new gameplay video and Rod Fergusson, Studio Head of The Coalition, talks about Gears POP! and shows off some gameplay.
