During X018, Shinji Hashimoto from Square Enix announced that the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy is coming to Xbox Backward Compatibility. Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will all become backward compatible on Xbox One sometime next week. Additionally, each of the games will be Xbox One X enhanced when they release via backward compatibility.

Currently, there are 522 Xbox 360 games, 21 X enhanced 360 games and 33 Original Xbox games available on the Xbox One via backwards compatibility. All Original Xbox games run at 4x resolution on the Xbox One S and 16x resolution on the Xbox One X.
