During X018, we reported that the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy was coming to Xbox One via backward compatibility. Today, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII are now backward compatible on Xbox One! Additionally, they’re all Xbox One X enhanced, as is Civilization: Revolution. All three games in the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy are available to purchase digitally on Xbox.

This now takes the total to 525 Xbox 360 games, 25 X enhanced 360 games and 33 Original Xbox games available on the Xbox One via backwards compatibility. Xbox One X enhanced Xbox 360 games run at 4 times the original resolution on the Xbox One X. All Original Xbox games run at 4x resolution on the Xbox One S and 16x resolution on the Xbox One X.
