The highly anticipated Final Fantasy VII remake has returned yet again to wow fans of the beloved series during Sony’s State of Play. However, what fans didn’t hear during the event is confirmation of if the game still be releasing in parts or if it will come out as a full game. Well, a bit of bad news. According to a Japanese press release, Square Enix has confirmed that the series will indeed still be released in parts. Just like you, I’m disappointed, given the amount of development time the game has had, I was still holding out hope that the full game would be released at once.
Now, given how much time has gone into development, my biggest question is how long will it take for the rest of the parts to release after the first? I guess we will have to wait and see. At the end of the trailer, we got a message stating that more information will be released in June. So we will have to wait until then.
