We’re quickly approaching Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite’s release date and Capcom just showed a new trailer for the game’s story. The trailer reveals that Dante, Arthur, Gamora, Nova, Spencer, Dr Strange, Thanos, Black Panther and Zero will be in the game. The story shows that Ultron-Sigma’s invasion is happening across the world; the heroes decide that releasing Thanos on Ultron-Sigma might be the only way to stop the threat.
This trailer essentially confirms the roster leak that happened recently. The roster predicted that Arthur, Gamora and Thanos would be in the game, all of these characters weren’t safe picks so it’s obvious this gives credit to the leak. Black Panther is confirmed to be DLC, so that gives further credit to the leak; one can assume that Zero will also be DLC.
A story mode demo is set to release soon. Capcom should also be giving in-depth looks at the gameplay in the coming days during E3.
Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite is set to release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on September 19th.
