Drew Karpyshyn, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and the first two Mass Effect games, has returned to Bioware after leaving the company for three years.
Karpyshyn left the company back in 2012 to work on a series of novels that he was writing. Now that he has finished the series he has returned to the company that made him famous.
However, Karpyshyn claims that he is only currently writing for the MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic. This may come across as disappointing for many, but perhaps in the future he’ll be helping out on Mass Effect: Andromeda or the new Bioware Star Wars game (that was announced all the way back in 2013).
