The Stone Age continues as Dr. Stone anime will be getting a second season. The news comes from the latest issue of Shueisha’s Shonen Jump magazine. The anime has been a surprising hit given that the series is nothing like traditional action-packed shonen anime, but then again neither was The Promised Neverland. The second season of the anime will adapt the Stone Wars arc that took place in the manga. Which is a good thing by the way because not every series have to be action-packed and full of fights.
At this time we don’t know exactly when the second season will come out, but we will let you know as soon as the information is released. If you haven’t seen the anime you should definitely catch up on the first season to get ready for the war to come. The first season of the anime is airing on Crunchyroll and has 25 episodes that are available to watch now, so make sure to get your popcorn ready.
