Vince Zampella from Respawn Entertainment told GamesRadar that the studio prefer not to “split the community” between gamers who have accesses to those maps and gamers that don’t. That said, there will still be free maps and game modes to dwell on for future updates.
Zampella then later said, “We still want to provide post launch content because people want it, but it’s not free to do. If we’re going to support the game, that cost money, the specifics aren’t nailed down yet, which can is why it’s really hard to talk about it, but the smart money would seem to be on paid DLC that won’t keep people from playing together if they don’t all have it cosmetic items, boosts, and that sort of thing”.
Expect for Titanfall 2 to launch on October 28, 2016 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
