Destiny 2 Players received an update yesterday that accidentally removed all currencies and materials on their accounts. The game was brought offline and Bungie took the necessary steps to fix this mistake. After about four hours the game was brought back online. Seemingly everyone’s materials and currencies were placed back into their accounts. Any players who actually jumped into the game after the update and right before the game was taken offline will lose their progress.
Those couple of hours were everyone was panicking and still playing Destiny 2 will not get their progress back. Any purchase with Silver or Bright Dust will have to be redone. If you played during this time and actually did something important in the game it was for nothing. Actually it was worth something, some experience in that mission or crucible match. Just think if you went 0-5 in the crucible, now that horrible moment is gone permanently.
Due to the rollback:
💠Any progress or purchase made between 8:30-10 AM PST will need to be redone
💠Silver spent during that time will be restored
💠Platform store-purchased Silver bundles will not be affected by the rollbackMore Info: https://t.co/PBkzWR7rXf

This game has a history of pissing off their players and losing them to mistakes like this. It seems like no one in Bungie really tests these updates out before they release them to the public. Since the game is now fixed, did this incident even affect you? Or were you to busy getting ready to fight some Terminators today in Ghost Recon Breakpoint?
