Destiny 2 Iron Banner Turns up for First Time in Season six

Players who haven’t been around in Destiny 2 for a while have the chance to enjoy some Iron Banner. It starts today on March 26th at 10 AM PDT and ends on April 2nd at 10 AM PDT. In this round Lord Saladin has a few new tricks up his sleeves for players. Two new consumables will be available for players to check out.

The first constable is the Iron Burden, this will take players light level down by 100. This is for use in the crucible for players who want to focus more on skill, gunplay, and strategy. Now players will be rewarded with a new Triumph that when completed gives players the Wizened Rebuke. This is an updated version that will be completely Masterworked. Players need to kill 500 opponents to complete this Triumph, don’t worry this will carry over to more Iron Banners. Iron Burden will cost 5 Iron Banner coins from Lord Saladin.

Next is the Wolf’s Favor, this consumable is can’t be bought. Instead players will have to find it as a drop from these challenges:

  • Daily Heroic story mission
  • Vanguard strikes
  • Nightfall
  • Flashpoints
  • Gambit (Forsaken only)
  • Weekly milestones from Ikora and Hawthorne

The Wolf’s Favor will actually increase your light level by 100, capping at 700. This is more for players who haven’t really spent any time in the Crucible before. The last thing to cover for today is the bounties. Now completing a bounty in Iron Banner will give players a powerful reward along with the opportunity to directly purchase an item from Lord Saladin. Players looking for a new emblem will get the chance to obtain the Weight of Guilt. This emblem will track high-powered opponents defeated under the Iron Burden. Hope to see you out in the crucible today.
