Rejoice fans of Daredevil! A full trailer for season 2 is just around the corner according to the TV show’s official twitter account. The 21 second teaser video shows Daredevil’s signature horned mask slowly morph into the Punisher’s skull emblem and asks “What is the difference?”. At New York Comic Con we received a Daredevil season 2 trailer that showed us both Elektra and Punisher, albeit briefly. The trailer from October is linked below along with the new teaser.

Season 2 of Daredevil will take place soon after the events of season 1, and will introduce new adversaries Punisher and Elektra. Photos did surface online a few months ago of Punisher filming one of his action sequences. According to showrunner Marco Ramirez, introducing Punisher in season 2 allowed Marvel and Netflix more creative flexibility than perhaps previous incarnations of the character allowed.
“[We were] able to do things on the small screen that fit that character better than if we had to water him down for the movies.”
