Crackdown 3 will be playable at X018 event in November

The upcoming action game Crackdown 3 will be playable at the X018 event in Mexico City next month. This announcement comes to us via a post made on the Xbox Mexico Twitter account. Have a look at the tweet for yourself:

This will be the first time that the game has been playable during any Xbox media conference this year. In fact, the last time we can remember a playable demo of Crackdown 3 at an Xbox event was way back at Gamescom 2017.

The X018 event will be held in Mexico City on November 10th. We have been told to expect some special game reveals and a surprising new announcement or two. If you cannot attend the event in person – don’t worry. You will be able to watch the presentation on Mixer and there will be a live episode of Inside Xbox as well.

Originally announced way back in 2014, Crackdown 3 was hyped because of its unique cloud-powered multiplayer mode which was said to have allowed for unprecedented destruction physics. Over the years the game’s was repeatedly delayed and is currently scheduled to launch in Spring of 2019. One of the most recent criticisms about the game pointed to the graphics. The Xbox team has suggested that the in-game visuals have since been improved and we are looking forward to seeing how the game looks now. We are hoping that some kind of multiplayer beta will be announced at the event as well.
