Bandai Namco has released a new Code Vein trailer detailing its gameplay mechanics. In the trailer, you will see various special moves and environments such as two dungeons, a snowy mountain path and what appears to be a city in flames. Also, there are some campaign co-op moments and what seems to be a boss battle.

Although Code Vein currently does not have a release date, it is nice to see some more gameplay and features of what players can expect. Though the combat may look a nit sluggish at times, I’m sure this will be resolved as the game continues to progress as they prepare for the release.
Bandai Namco describes the vampiric post apocalyptic game as:
“In the not too distant future, a mysterious disaster has brought collapse to the world as we know it. Towering skyscrapers, once symbols of prosperity, are now lifeless graves of humanity’s past pierced by the Thorns of Judgment. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with Gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a thirst for blood. Give into the bloodlust fully and risk becoming one of the Lost, fiendish ghouls devoid of any remaining humanity.”
Code Vein is slated to release in 2018 for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
