Some more news from Netflix today! Claire Temple is now confirmed for the upcoming Netflix show Luke Cage. Luke Cage will be the third Netflix-Marvel partnered release before the team-up series The Defenders.
In season 1 of Daredevil, actress Rosario Dawson was introduced as an amalgamation of Night Nurse and Claire Temple. In the comics, Claire Temple was a girlfriend of Luke Cage and Night Nurse is the alias used by a variety of non-powered characters all of whom aide wounded superheroes.
As an interesting side note Marvel have struck a deal with their Entertainment brand as to Dawson’s identity. Apparently they may have future plans to include Night Nurse in the films.
Before Luke Cage comes to Netflix, in his own self-titled series, in 2016 we are due to see him and Claire Temple in Jessica Jones. Jessica Jones has been confirmed to première within the 2015 fiscal year. For more movie, TV and gaming news stick right here with TiCGN!
