Cells at Work – the anime that tells all about the trillions of cells in the human body – will be getting another season. Based on the manga by Akane Shimizu, the series is about “The average human body contains about 60 trillion cells, and each of them has work to do! But when you get injured, viruses or bacteria invade, or when an allergic reaction flares up, everyone from the silent but deadly white blood cells to the brainy neurons has to work together to get through the crisis!”

The series originally premiered in Kodansha’s Comics back in 2015 and sparked an anime adaptation that came out in 2018. The second season of the anime will premiere in July so if you want to catch up on all 14 episodes released so far you might want to start now. If you don’t know where you can watch the first season, you can watch all of the episodes on Crunchyroll.
