Capcom has shared their financial results for their second quarter of 2018 (Q2 2018). Overall Capcom is doing well, with the highest profits in a six-month period ever (ending in September 2018) and sales have grown by 28%.
More details on Capcom’s Q2 2018 financial results:Â
- Highest second quarter sales in Capcom’s history
- Monster Hunter: World sales have “grown significantly” since the 10 million copies sold as of August 2018
- Monster Hunter: World sales on PC have been great
- Mega Man X Legacy Collection “Performed Well”
It’s good to see that Capcom is doing well. Monster Hunter: World is currently the fourth best-selling game of 2018. Despite the closure of Capcom Vancouver, things are looking strong with the Resident Evil 2 remake and Devil May Cry 5 both releasing early in 2019.
