Seeing as the official trailers had English subtitles, it is probably no surprise that Blazblue Cross Tag Battle would release outside of Japan. Now Arc System Works have revealed that the company doing the localizing will be their newly established American branch. Naturally, this game will be the first title that the subsidiary will be handling. While we now know the game will get an official release in North America, there is no word yet on who will handle the game in Europe.
Blazblue Cross Tag Battle is a 2D fighting game from Arc System Works. In addition to Blazblue, the game will include characters from Persona 4 Arena, Under Night In-birth, and RWBY. Players will be able to select two fighters and switch between them during battle. They will also be able to summon their partner character for special team attacks.
The game should release on PS4, Switch, and PC at some point in 2018. For more on the game, please read our earlier report.
