The producers of the Banana Fish anime have taken to Twitter and released a brand new trailer for the series. Along with the new trailer, the series finally gets a premiere date as well. So sit back and enjoy the trailer:

As you can see from the trailer, the The Banana Fish anime will premiere on July 5th exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. The series will be split into two quarters that will have 12 episodes a piece (totaling 24 episodes). If you haven’t heard about the series before, here is a brief synopsis from Vizmedia:
“Nature made Ash Lynx beautiful; nurture made him a cold ruthless killer. A runaway brought up as the adopted heir and sex toy of “Papa” Dino Golzine, Ash, now at the rebellious age of seventeen, forsakes the kingdom held out by the devil who raised him.
