According to an article from animenewsnetwork, Mado Nozaki’s Babylon novels will be getting an anime adaptation. The news comes from the official website that recently became available to the public, the series will be exclusively on Amazon Video streaming service. The first novel of Babylon was released back in 2015 on Kodansha’s ‘ Kodansha Taiga label. Check out the teaser trailer below along with the promotional poster.
Here is a brief description of what you can expect from Babylon: “The story follows Zen Seizaki, a prosecutor that’s apart of the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office. While Zen was investigating some illegal acts by a pharmaceutical company, Zen then stumbles across a strange conspiracy. The conspiracy was over an election for an autonomous ” new zone” that was established in western Tokyo.”
