Atsuo Ueda, will launch the sequel to the Fairy Tail manga according to an announcement from Kodansha’s Weekly magazine. If you haven’t heard of Fairy Tail before, here is brief synopsis: “The story follows a teenage girl named Lucy Heartfilla who is determined to join the notorious magical Fairy Tail Guild. During a daring rescue, she encounters Natsu who is part of the guild and eventually offers her a place. They become teammates performing various missions for the Fairy Tail Guild.”
The Fairy Tail sequel will make its premiere in Kodansha’s Magazine pocket manga app on July 25th. The first chapter will also be published in Kodansha’s Weekly magazine on the same day.
Although Atsuo Ueda will be drawing the sequel, the original creator, Hiro Mashima, will be writing the story boards.
Hiro Machina is one of the hardest working magaka out there, with his new series Eden Zero officially out with two chapters as of this writing and now the Fairy Tail sequel. Don’t forget the Fairy Tail spin-off, “Fairy Tail City Hero” along with yet another spin-off, Fairy Tail Happy’s Grand Adventure.
