The hype for Dragon Ball FighterZ is real. The fighting game arguably won E3 2017 as well as the hearts of gamers everywhere. The game’s hype train continues as new fighters and details on the story mode were recently revealed.
Revealed in Jump Magazine, Dragon Ball FighterZ will feature an all-new story. This tale will see Super warriors fall “one-by-one”. Furthermore, the story mode will feature “high-end animation”. There will also be a “what if” story in which a revived Android 16 plays a pivotal role. Not much else was given on the story, but we should see more on it soon enough.
Four characters were also revealed, including the fan favorites Android 16 and Android 18. Joining them are Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta.
Android 17 will appear in one of 18’s super moves. 17’s voice actor has previously leaked that he has recorded lines for the game. It seems this is what it was for.
There will also be an online mode where six players can all duke it out in a single match. It won’t be all at once, but it’ll cool to be able to tag in your friends whenever you need a break.
Dragon Ball FighterZÂ is set to launch worldwide on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2018.
