Amazon is selling the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller for $50

The Nintendo Switch is a fantastic console with a library of amazing games but let’s face it – the JoyCon controllers are not for everybody. I know that there are a lot of gamers out there who would prefer to play on the Switch with a more traditional controller while laying on the couch. If you are one of those people then you are in luck. The Nintendo Switch Pro controller is available on Amazon for a price of $49.99. That is a $20 savings off of the controller’s usual price.

Best of all, that deal is Prime eligible. If you are an Amazon Prime subscriber then you can score that deal and get free two-day shipping for no extra charge.

The Nintendo Switch Pro controller is similar in design to the Xbox One controller with its offset analog sticks. The Pro controller is one of my personal favorites for the entire generation – right behind the Xbox Elite controller. You still get the same amiibo support, HD rumble and even motion controls that you would expect from the JoyCons in a more familiar form factor.

There is no indication for why the controller has been discounted by $20 or when the deal will end. If you want one I would act sooner rather than later. The only caveat being that it is possible that Nintendo is clearing out stock of the Nintendo Switch Pro controller to make way for an updated design. If that is the case then we will be sure to let you know as soon as any details become available.
