Age of Wonders: Planetfall is coming to consoles and PC later this year. A story trailer has been released along with the release date. Players will be able to jump into this game on August 6th, 2019. Paradox Interactive is the studio behind such hits as Stellaris, Cities Skylines, and Surviving Mars. They are masters at crafting a wonderful story with immersive gameplay.
The video only showed off three of the six factions that you will be playing as. Here is a brief description taken from the press release:
“Emerge from the cosmic dark age of a fallen galactic empire to build a new future. Build an empire with one of six unique factions, ranging from the militant Vanguard to the dinosaur-riding Amazons and the cyborg-zombies of the Assembly. Progress through each faction’s missions using wits, military strength and diplomacy, exploring planetary ruins and encountering other survivors as the history of a shattered civilization unravels.”
