A special announcement was made at the end of the One Piece Skypiea special which was recently aired in Japan. An all new One Piece movie is reportedly in the works and will be released sometime in 2019. This new film will be the 14th movie in the One Piece franchise.
If you live outside of Japan and would like to watch the Skypiea special, don’t worry. Funimation, Crunchyroll and Animelab will stream the special online. That’s not all, Shuiesha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is also teasing an “important announcement” for the One Piece anime when the next issue launches on September 3rd.
