A couple of scans from a magazine indicates that a new anime set in the Dragon Ball universe is coming. However, you may be disappointed if you think it will be a follow up to Dragon Ball Super. The new anime is called Super Dragon Ball Heroes. Check out the magazine scan below:
If you haven’t heard of Super Dragon Ball Heroes before, it was originally a video game developed for the Nintendo 3DS which featured a plethora of characters from Super Saiyan Three Trunks and Broly along with various kinds of fusions from different characters. Additional information regarding the anime has been released. Yonkou Productions gave a small glimpse of what fans can expect:
DBH's Universe Survival and Prison Planet arcs that will be made into an RP Anime. The first episode's pre-screening will take place on July 1 at Ion Lake Town. And although it's a PR Anime they'll mash a few episodes together in order to extend its length.
