Developer Gears for Breakfast have announced that A Hat in Time is heading to PS4 and Xbox One. This port of the popular platformer will have support for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, though it will only feature Ultra HD. Furthermore, the game will not block recording on PS4, so those who wish to stream it can do so with ease.

In A Hat in Time, the protagonist explores five unique worlds in search of Time Pieces to fuel her spaceship. Over the course of the game, players will create and utilize a number of hats that grant special abilities. They can also earn and apply badges which provide various buffs. Split-screen cooperative play is currently in the works, but will not be available until next year.
The Xbox One and PS4 ports will launch on December 6, 2017. For more on the game, check out our review of the PC version.
